Creativity, intelligence have been our tool for ages.
Marching forward for the country – leading it to progress.
Making sure that you and me are part of all success.

The original lyrics' five stanzas were organized to reflect the (a) Electronics Engineering Profession and Practice, (b) IECEP’s History, Goals, and Objectives, (c) Overview of the Organization, its Chapters, and its Members, (d) Rising Above the Challenges in Digital Transformation, and (e) the Future of the Electronics Engineering Industry, with its Chorus as the Call to Action.
Did you know? The hymn's original title was: "One IECEP, I am IECEP," while its chorus first version read as: "IECEP members, rise up and raise hands, this is our statement!" Also, "Better everyday, greater than any exception; ...because electronics is our life, our vocation," used to be the bridge of the initial draft.
The hymn was then synthesized to its present form with three stanzas, a pre-chorus and chorus, and a bridge, as the Organizational Anthem of IECEP, Inc., and was eventually entitled "ECEs, Let's Build The Nation!"
Composed as a lively march, the copy was subjected to a final lyrics substitution for singability and style. The careful and curated word choice was inspired by the lyricist, Engr. Benjz Gerard M. Sevilla's interviews with Former IECEP National Presidents, his background on Ignatian Values and Spirituality, and his expertise in Government Technical Writing.
The lyrics were finalized while he was driving (and singing with his partner) along the busy streets of Mandaluyong City, the same site of IECEP Home, the new National Office, inaugurated in 2021.
Dedicated to the IECEP General Membership, the Hymn was launched in 2022 on the occasion of IECEP's 72nd Founding Year.
Engr. Sevilla thanks the National BOD and Officers, and the IECEP Hymn Committee for the trust and opportunity to serve the organization as our hymn's songwriter.
